Statement

Suwon Lee (1977) actualmente vive en Madrid, España. Realizó estudios en Spéos, International Photo School, en The American University of Paris, Francia. Su obra devela su realidad existencial y recuerdos, los lugares de su mirada, las narraciones y deseos que la acompañan, convirtiendo el paisaje —natural o urbano— en un escenario expresivo a la vez prodigioso y frágil, fantástico y difuso, espectacular y alusivo. Sus fotografías son una meditación sobre los momentos sublimes de la imagen, cuando la imagen excede la comprensión de la mirada y revela los estratos íntimos de la subjetividad.
