Statement

Artista multimedia trabajando en pintura, escultura e instalación superponiendo materiales, identidades e historias. Aborda ideas de interacción e interpretación cultural, y puntos en común que los seres humanos comparten en nuestra relación con la naturaleza.

“Strainger” is a play-on-words between a strainer and a stranger suggesting the act of separation, liquid from solid, interior from exterior, the exotic from the mundane. Accessories are repurposed and hand beaded onto kitchen strainers along with natural materials from the Amazon in Ecuador.
